With outstanding low-end torque and thrust, a Honda engine can do the job of a comparably sized two stroke engine, and do it better. Honda engines look as good as they feel. Their metallic silver finish was specially chosen by our designers to compliment the widest range of boat colours, shapes and sizes. They reflect the colours of the boat, the water and the quality of Honda's engineering. Designed to be in tune with nature, many engine parts are recyclable and at launch the BF 90 won three industry design awards.

In 1993, the Bodensee authorities enforced Step 1 of the most stringent marine engine anti-pollution regulations in the world. Of all manufacturers, Honda have the widest range of engines that meet them. We're very aware of our responsibility to the environment and 4-stroke technology is now recognised as the best way of reducing engine exhaust emissions.
